More on the Cleverlance DMS system
The Cleverlance DMS (Document Management System) is a product designed for the administration and management of documents in electronic form and of hardcopy documents scanned into digital form.

Dashboard
Appearance and position of dashlets can easily be changed. The DMS dashboard enables you to see everything you need to see on one clear, well-arranged page.
Uploading documents
The fast and intuitive uploading of a document (or multiple documents) to the required folder.
Document’s details
All information clearly arranged on a single page – view of document, metadata, actions that can be performed with document, all versions of the document. Categories which the document is included in and discussions with colleagues concerning the document’s versions are visible.
Versioning of documents
All older versions can be seen in the document’s details. In uploading a new version of the document it’s guaranteed that nobody else is uploading a new version at the same time (the document is locked). The user selects whether this is a minor or major change. The version is automatically numbered according to this key.
Searching
The same principle as with Google – the user enters the sought text into a single box Records that have the sought expression in the title, in the body (editable documents of Word, Excel, PowerPoint type) or metadata. An advanced search is also available that enables the number of search results to be reduced using search-defining parameters.
Simple workflow
Rules can easily be set for individual documents, but also for entire folders and their subfolders. This is often used for approving documents and the actions connected to them (such as moving to a folder for final documents).
Definition of rights
The administrator can create individual users, define user groups and assign users to a group. Necessary rights can be set for these groups or individual users for the various folders and documents.
